Community content and copying rules

The rules applied when a published Waylantern template is proposed, moderated, copied or reported.

Last updated: 2026-08-30

Rights and permission to share

The contributor confirms that they have the rights needed to share the submitted content and authorize independent copies inside Waylantern under the accepted terms version.

  • The attribution name and source lineage are retained.
  • No open-source licence, regulatory approval or ownership transfer is implied.
  • A contributor must not submit third-party content without sufficient permission.

Content that must remain private

A public template must be generic and must not contain client data, personal data that is not necessary, credentials, access codes, private links, Run responses, Issues or execution photos.

Independent copies and attribution

A copy creates a new private draft in the destination workspace. It remains independent from the original, keeps an attribution link and is never updated or deleted automatically when the source changes or is withdrawn.

Moderation, reports and withdrawal

Waylantern may reject or withdraw unsafe, illegal, deceptive, confidential, infringing or spam content. Anyone may report a public template; decisions are recorded for moderation purposes. Withdrawal blocks new copies but preserves existing independent copies.

Responsibility for real-world use

Templates are starting points to adapt and verify. Waylantern does not certify regulatory compliance, safety, professional suitability or the result of an execution. The user remains responsible for the procedure used in their real context.
